Sez She writer Jane Martin is well known for her mix of social commentary,
offbeat comments on contemporary life and her sense of humor found in the
every day moments of life. In Sez She a cast of five female actors playing
37 characters illuminate various aspects of being a woman through a series
of dramatic monologues.
Beginning March 6th, directors Michael Bigelow Dixon and Liz Engelman, with
the help of actors and designers, will bring this story to life, taking you
backstage with written journals, video clips and images focusing on a different
aspect of production each week.
Combined with features in the Interact section, this journey will give you
an intimate look at how a play goes from script to stage. Topics include:
March 6-10: An Introduction to Jane Martin and Sez She
March 13-17: Scenic Design Process
March 20-24: Costume Design Process
March 27-31: Sound and Light Design
April 3-7: Production Week and Dress Rehearsals
